Someone backed into my 2015 mustang

Was at my friends bar and I park in employee parking. A non employee parked and backed out into my mustang and took off. Such trash people are.

Yeah shit blows. I have a gieco adjuster appoitment tomorrow. My deductable is only $250 but still takes away from dealer trade in money/mod money for my FiST that I ordered. I opted out of the police report cause I don't want no carfox(carfax) records.

I had an incident at the local Staples - $8800 later and a week long rental later I had my ride back. Asshat couldn't park their huge truck so they decided to scrape the entire side of my FiST.

It sucks. Hope your insurance is good to deal with.

Yeah man that does suck. Even though it can be repaired and completely un-noticeable after the repair, it will still affect the value. My wife's 2013 Mustang was bumped in the rear right after we got it, costing close to $1k to repair...when I went to trade it, the dealer wanted to drop the value at least $1k. We argued for a while on that, lol.

Unless you really need to, don't file a police report. I'm guessing you filed a police report for your claim. Police reports become public records and that's how carfax get's their information. The insurance company and collision center don't report it.

Also when I trade in my cars they don't even look at them. I have a pretty good relationship with my dealer.

I have had a 5 or 6 parking lot hit and runs over the years, 700 miles on a brand new truck, I was parked far from everyone, I know what it feels like, sorry buddy

Gets even better. Friday I was supposed to get a call saying the car was done. They called me to tell me they put a ding in the A-pillar and are going to need the car till Monday (Tomorrow) to fix it. I also told them at the expense of them, they can fix the door chip on each door edge that was on the car before I bought it. They are at my mercy now. The mileage when I dropped it off was 1,497
