Yesterday was a great time. It was really nice to put a face to a forum name.
I left around 440am and drove about 140 miles to get to Panera bread. Watching the sun rise was nice right before I got on Angeles Crest Highway. The freshly layed asphault and cool temperatures at 6am were a welcomed treat as I had zero traffic going southbound to the meet up location.
That was the first time I've taken Upper Tujunga the whole way, I feel like I'll add that slight detour half the time now as it has some really fun sections.
Spunky Canyon = Fun. On the way back home I decided to double back and do it a 2nd time....
Lake Hughes road was fun. A bit rougher than Angeles Forest but still fun in its own right.
Overall, I really enjoyed finally meeting up with you guys and look forward to attending more rides. The early start times are nice.
