I figured while doing the coolant project and also adding an ITG intake I’d heat tape wrap my Ramair crossover pipe using Design Engineering Inc Reflect-A-Gold tape. I think it came out really well.

I did the individual pieces of tape method. Much more attractive than wrapping around over and over.

If I had a metal material crossover pipe, I would do the same.

It can only help the intake temps a tiny bit with the composite/plastic factory pipes though, so not worth it to me.

I have Whoosh hoses on each end of the crossover pipe as well as throughout the system so it works well.
