Side Mirror LED Fitment

Anyone have any experience with LED replacements that fit?
There doesn't appear to be a lot of depth room there; just enough for the "miniature" bulbs.
In the past, I've also had issues with the LED replacement base being too thick, to securely fit in the slot without damaging the socket/contacts.

Got a set of these, I've only replaced the license plate lights with them so far, fit fine there.

Those do (barely) fit.
But they can pull your socket apart in the process of trying to remove them.
What were deemed as the interior LEDs, seemed brighter. So I used them instead of those that were deemed as exterior.
Recommend greasing the contacts down prior to insertion.

...BUT I would add the following notes based on my own experience.
* The tabs you press UP on with the flathead screwdriver do not fully release. They just sit near the edge of being released... no matter how much force I applied.
* Instead, you must partially release all of the tabs. They will all be sitting near the edge of release.
* Use https://www.bing.com/images/search?q=plastic+spudger+tool to press on the inside corner and pry from the seam, which will fully release that square clip.
* Then use the flathead screwdriver to punch the inside-most tab; all will then release.
* Be ready to catch the mirror housing before it hits the pavement. (and scrapes it up)

Also, in case anyone may be wondering about hyper flashing, it's not an issue with the mirror indicators. Whatever can be used.

Found and ordered some sequential/dynamic LED assemblies for the mirror for under $23 shipped...says it should arrive in 2 weeks, we will see about that but these look really cool for the money!

This is good to know as I avoided LED blinkers due to the complexity and heat of resistors, it wasn't worth it but since you provided this info I went ahead and ordered the sequential mirror blinkers from AliExpress!
