Shorty or Shark Fin?

Having trouble deciding.
The shorty seems cheap and simple.
Shark fin just looks good.

The shorty is an easier swap. Some shark fin requires removing the base which can end up messing up your headliner.

Is there a shark fin that is OE on another Ford that might connect in correctly?

MK3 Focus stick on shark fin should work..just search on eBay.

The shark fin I was looking at is from Visual Garage. But I didn't think about an OEM one.

I was just thinking that the quality of an OEM unit may be better than aftermarket.
The draw back however is that it may also be more expensive.
In this case, I would go for the quality.
This is why I was hoping for a Ford car that had one as original equipment.

The shark fin I was looking at is from Visual Garage. But I didn't think about an OEM one.

I saw the Visual Garage antenna cover before and to me it makes the most sense. The only thing holding me back is that it looks a little bit too large since he has to cover the stock antenna base.

I apologize in advance for reviving this old thread. New FiST owner here. Would a S2000 antenna be a simple screw on as an antenna option? Thanks.

I don't know if the threads are the same between the Honda and Ford antenna. The threads are the same for the Ford and Subaru though. I went with the Perrin 4" shorty and I haven't noticed any reception issues.

The Perrin antenna works for the Evo IX, which I had a S2000 antenna on. So you've just answered my question. Thank you!
