Constantine replied to my ebay inquiry on shipping, so he must run the ebay site as seller "koplx55" and cars245. Is ebay better to use from a customer standpoint seeing as how the tyc lights are $30 more each and shipping is about $20 more than on the cars 245 site?
Honestly, you are helping to cover their Ebay listing fees at that point, I'd just buy through the web site using a credit card through PayPal and get both their buyer protection services and the lowest price...

Yeah youre right. The same seller shouldnt have different policies. And paypal offers decent protection for buyers. I just have this pit telling me ill have the same problems again even though my last headlight I got worked fine. And I would get DEPO lights but if they're saying they arent making them anymore that is a concern. Anyways I will probably order tomorrow.

Oh snap, I almost got the TYC lights and checked and saw the DEPO lights are IN STOCK. I ordered them again, lol..

lol mines already been taken out of inventory then, there were 2 when I ordered :D.
Nice, that's what I was hoping was the case for you... So now what I would do is contact Constantine with your order number and ask to double check actual shipping charges now so it will all be processed ASAP... Then keep us posted on how it all works out; how long they take to arrive, etc...

Techmax has the same side bleed. Still haven't been able to find one that doesn't from the pictures shown

Yes, they all have it, TechMax has the least amount for as much light as you get on the road. One solution is to use side blackouts, which I used on my Euro's actually, will help with factory reflectors..

It's just the emission pattern, no amount of moving the led around inside the housing will be 100% identical to halogen simply because of the difference in how LED's emit vs. halogens. Not bad, just different. This is not a knock at LED's, just an explanation for the side emissions.

Just wait until low-cost chinese laser headlight conversions hit the market. Pretty much guarantee they're not going to bother filtering harmful wavelengths in order to make them cheaper. The problem there is, you might be causing damage to people's eyes and not even be able to see it - so the body's automatic squint reflex won't kick in. It's one of the reasons you're not supposed to import chinese made laser pointers, they spew out all sorts of harmful wavelengths that US legal ones are required to filter for import.

Hello All! Looking to upgrade my headlight low beams and fog lights, need some help and insight.

With the TechMax mini H11, which are the ones I would like to get for my low beam headlights and fog lights. With the headlights, will the oem rear dust cover fit back on perfectly and seal like originally? Or do I have to buy an aftermarket rear dust cover and if so what size to be a perfect fit and seal? I definitely want a rear dust cover installed. If the the TechMax won’t work with a rear dust cover, which LED bulbs will? For the fog lights, I am all good with these bulbs?

The dust covers fit with the techmax in the low beams. I'll let someone else answer for the fogs. I haven't moved mine down there yet.

The factory rear covers don't quite fit with the TechMax in the passenger side, I'd get 75mm domed ones off Amazon for like $9... For the fog lights, anything will fit, you just want to use one without an external module so you don't have to mount them so TechMax is a good choice there.

Got it and thanks bro! So a pair of 75 mm domed rear covers will work for the headlights. Do you have a brand you used or recommend that work well with the TechMax and our headlights? What do you think about the Beamtech? Will they fit in our headlights and fog lights? Do they require the 75mm domed rear cover or will the OEM ones work?

Anyone have experience with the Beamtech fan-less LED for our car? Will they fit for our low beam headlights and fog lights? Does the OEM rear cover fit or will any aftermarket one be needed and if so what size?

The dome covers I bought didn't fit at all. And I sent them back. The factory ones would, I just had to work them really hard to get on the pass side.

Stick with the ones that rate well at BulbFacts.Com, look for the charts there.
