Surprised no one has mentioned Rocky Mountain Radar http://www.rockymountainradar.com
They're a radar detector and scrambler (although most states don't allow scramblers/jammers so check your local state laws if illegal in your state you can't use the convenient on/off button to make it just a detector)
Had an old V1 and I've had several Rocky Mountain models
The RMRs probably are not as good as new Escorts/V1's (my estimate is within 90% +) but when I was a cop my buddy and I tested the effectiveness of the scrambling and it buys you much needed extra time before the radar gun locks on you. Works better at distance.
Only one I use anymore, but then again I don't speed much anymore, then again I've only been driving trucks for the past 6 years.
