Ohhhh k. that is surprising. I wonder if there is likely to be a lot of vibration in that location and pros and cons of DPs that leave it out.

Where the bracket bolts to the downpipe is not a rigid mount.

OK. I'm just thinking why would Ford spend money to add in a bracket there unless they saw that it was needed to prevent cracking or damage? And if so, would DP's that leave it out be prone to additional stress anywhere in the exhaust piping?

Oh yes, ... quietest aftermarket exhausts. after listening to sound clips, I like the Cobra Sport best (not sure if it's available here in US?), then Magnaflow and Borla. but have not heard any in person.

The garage does make it a little louder on video. It's louder than stock but not by much

Nice. I will keep it on my wish list.
