I was watching a show where a woman ran into her car and locked the car so a man couldn’t get to her. And it got me thinking, our cars have the button outside the car on the door handle. So if we were to lock ourselves in our cars. The car would be able be able to tell that the key fob is inside the car and therefore the outside button would no longer work, correct? Has anyone actually tried to have someone else unlock the car while you are inside your fist?
I know a lot of cars with keyless entry have this feature that can tell where the key fob is but with the fiesta being a cheaper car I figured maybe removing that feature was a good way to cut cost. Although By removing that feature it brings up obviously safety concerns. So maybe not.
