Just ran the logs in V-dyno. There is 25hp difference up top and a tremendous difference in how long the car holds peak power till redline. There is 20lb-ft difference in torque at the top end, too.

The car definitely pulls better at the top end. I can't wait to get this thing fully tuned on 93, then on to e30.

Crazy dude! I'm hitting 20-21 psi @redline but we are still tuning her, your gas is obviously WAY better than mines:-( on my vdyno ( max psi 23 atm) I'm seeing 249hp@5877 and 255@3396

Hitting 26-28 psi and making 280 whp on E30. These are numbers in the worst conditions 95 degrees with high humidity. It's a testament to what this turbo can do with Adam +.

What bolt on a and anything else do you have to get these numbers? How was 91 if you did a tune for that as well? Thanks in advance!

Yea i hear ya. When a downpipe doesn't give a f*ck you definitely make way more power!

Had some fun while installing x37 yesterday...

Anyone know what size the bolts connecting the downpipe to the turbo are? One of mine was cross threaded, thanks ford. It is stripped pretty bad i don't want to use it again. I also had to cut one of the bolts off connecting the downpipe to the catback that was fun. I will have to deal with that in a few years when smog check time rolls around.

edit. nm, looks like they are M8 1.25 should of searched forums more.

Forgot what size they were but i went to Autozone and picked up some bolts there. They look exactly the same, i believe they were meant for like water pumps but had the same design as our oem dp bolts.

Def M8 1.25
Use anti-seize and maybe think about some washers.
All those turbine housings warp a bit.

Every turbo I send out, I tap those threads, and every one of them needs it.

My factory catback bolts are themselves when I removed them at 2600miles... So it's not conditions, it's not miles, it's just.... Poor choices from ford.

But anti-seize maybe messing and it's not 100% that it will not be an issue again later, but... It's worth the time/mess.

Just got word, Adam is no longer selling these turbos. :(

So if we want them we have to get them from Pumaspeed directly and those guy's customer service sucks.

I agree that any hybrid turbo you can get will be huge compliment to the car.

Does anyone have a v dyno of just 93 octane??? All I can find is e30 and meth mixes. Trying to help out a friend who wants to decide between x37 or c39 but he will only be running 93. Need a v dyno to show what the power band looks like on 93

On my X37 before my engine let go of cylinder 3 these were my vdyno numbers running E28 fuel mixture. Power mods were, DHM intercooler, stock charge pipes, 2j intake, Modified oem Cat, Turbosmart wastegate/bov and 2.5" DHM exhaust. Both graphs were on the same road in opposite directions. I didn't get to see final results of 100 octane but got up to 280 hp before the engine let go.

Not sure what failed yet as I will be disassembling the engine in December. I do not feel it was the tune at all but more so all the abuse I had given the engine with 45,000 really hard miles. Which include the numerous track days I had. From when I removed the engine I feel the piston rings in cylinder 3 let go, but I will find out for sure when the engine comes apart.

Having a pull here or there or even a canyon run lets say every week shouldn't be too bad. But the 20 minute sessions on track going 100 percent 6 times in one day really puts a strain on the entire car. And I have had quite a few track days on the stock turbo (never got to do one with the x37 yet). Plus I would go do night driving almost every night on the local mountain with the car. The nice part of living in Southern California is Winter becomes boost season haha
