In most applications non reversing gear wrenches are great! But, sometimes, the good ol' open end works too. Doh!

I did that then I went out and bought switch gear wrenches lol I was so pissed I cut the wrench up to get it off hahaah

End of the wrench is stuck against the strut. Because it only turns one way, he can't tighten it to remove the wrench.

I use a pass through socket set. Good 30 dollar investment
