Why do you say that? Are those 18s? Or are you saying that because of the tire choice?
Those EAPs weigh 21lbs, tires about 22lbs and a diameter of 24.6". Compared to stock rados 22.5lbs, RE50 tires 19lbs 23.4" diameter. Too much rotational mass and throws off the speedo. That setup looks damn good tho. I was very close to buying a set from tirerack. Not knocking his choice just stating facts about that setup. If the car feels good then it feels good to each their own.

I just read that they are OZ wheels...my fault. The lesser weight makes a better difference then.

Oh okay. I want to go with a 45 series tire to get the benefits of a better ride and look. You think the difference in rotational mass will affects that much?

I had 205/45/17 General Gmax tires which weighed 18lbs on Sparco Assetto wheels which weighed cant remember 16-18lbs. I instantly felt the weight loss and quicker acceleration from stop.

Damn, makes me want to get 16s so bad. I would get a beefer tire though, maybe like a 205/50/16s. Unless that messes with the rotational mass more than a 45 series on 16s.

Theres a good article on this basically you don't want to change the overall diameter from more than 3% or it will effect ride quality/handling

I also had 205/50/16 tires on my rota grids...loved the look and the ride. Didnt feel any negative effects But they rubbed up front even with a 1 finger gap with my BC coils. I would like to try 205/50 tires again with my TD wheels which are 45mm offset but not sure if it will clear or still rub the fender.
