Car had been sitting in the garage for a few days so I decided to drive it. Started it heard the compressor engage, engine revved up a little like normal but HOT air. Pulled out of the neighborhood just thinking the freon needed to circulate more but nope. Drove for a good 20 minutes and it is still blowing out hot air. Every now and then it seems like the air would get slightly colder like 3 degrees or maybe I was just tripping. It has done this before and I took it to Ford and they replaced the climate control module but now I'm getting the same problem. It's always when it is pretty hot outside but the air is still not even slightly cold even when driving. Radiator fan works, ambient temperature sensor is good. It's almost like the cold/hot blend door doesn't move but it isn't broken because when I turn it to all the way hot it blows out even hotter air. 3/36 warranty is almost up idk what to do. 2016 FiST

Sucks, but take it back again. Let them fix it again. You've got a warranty, don't be shy to use it. Push for a loaner car too.

Any repairs that Ford does if it's the exact same problem come with a 24 month 24k miles warranty iirc.

My AC is also not working correctly.
Things do happen.
Lately the temps in CA,AZ, & TX have been very hot for the last few weeks and this may have contributed to the problem.
Due to these hot days, my dealer has been inundated with AC repairs.
For this reason there a three week back log on getting repairs done.
Fortunately I only have to drive it two days a week and very early in the day at that.
For now I will just have to wait for my appointment.
I will be getting the cooling system recall done at the same time.

There is a cooling system recall? Let me know what they say your problem was.

I also noticed on my car, that the AC is considerably less efficient at temperatures above 90F.
I have to max out the AC, to get the car cool.
When the outside temperatures are below 86F, it works really well.

I'm thinking of tinting my windows.

I believe the recall is only on the '14s and early '15s.
Although I have never had any issues with my car, they are replacing the water tank with new level sensor, tank cap, thermostat, hoses, other cooling system parts, and wiring.
I have also heard from my service advisor that part of the inspection is to determine if the head gasket needs to be replaced.

Original 2015 owner bought in November of 2014 and I've never received a recall notice.
I am sure it depends on your VIN.

From the recall:

CERTAIN 2013-2014 FUSION, 2013-2015 TRANSIT CONNECT, 2014 ESCAPE, AND 2014-2015 FIESTA ST VEHICLES EQUIPPED WITH A 1.6L ECOBOOST ENGINE — COOLANT LEVEL SENSOR SYSTEM INSTALLATION

OVERVIEW

In the affected vehicles, localized overheating of the engine cylinder head may cause the cylinder head to crack, causing a pressurized oil leak that may result in a fire in the engine compartment.
Service parts and repair procedures are now available to address this safety recall. Dealers are to perform repairs following the technical information in this document that include enhancements to the engine cooling and control systems. This service must be performed on all affected vehicles at no charge to the vehicle owner.

I have a 2014 and I just had the recall done. New tank with better design, fresh hoses, new sensor, fresh fluid. Not a bad recall definitely get it done if your warranty covers it.

I got my 15 new in March and have not recieved any recall notice in the mail yet. March seems like an early 15 right?

Again, I am sure it is by your VIN.
Also I believe the '15 builds would have started in August of '14; so how early is early?
If you did not get a notice, maybe your car is not part of the recall.
I would suggest that you contact your dealer to make sure.

I inquired about it early on and the dealer said no recall is out for mine. It was right as I heard about the issue on the forums here.

I took it in again and they found that there was error with the HVAC controls communicating with the compressor at random times. They replaced the controls,, but it still does it sometimes. I am out of my warranty though so I will just have to live with it.
