Some of this is really easy to do, highly recommened, some far more difficult, time consuming, not possibly unless doing so in stages as building parts but doing everything you can will make a difference
I have done extensive porting on smaller turbos, inlet and into the scroll removing casting lines, etc...then a very good WG port where I spent most of the effort and made more power, smoother powerband, better boost control, well worth it!
I would work this little turbo over really well but I am going to a bigger turbo as soon as I can decide on which one so not taking the time to do it.
I ported the heck out of the stock manifold a few weeks back, it needed it badly.
Make the ports being feed larger than the ports feeding them and prevent reversion, does not have to be massive but it makes much easier than trying to match them perfectly, far easier.
I also port the DP intrance and any welds, etc, inside I can get to, match up the flow into the next section of piping and if I build an exhaust I very carefully line up the tubing but also bevel the inlet of each section a little.
Intake side, inlet tube to TB, ported it as well, it had some rather abrupt edges inside.
Ported the turbo outlet pipe I built as well as inlet to IC, etc...basically I port everything I can possibly do and it adds up rather nicely, costs very little, does take quite a bit of time but worth it.
Great job Sour, keep it up
