plasti-chrome peeling?

does anyone else have the plastic silver trim glued to the steering wheel shifter and cup holders peeling off? there is a bunch gone from my cup holders and i can always feel the sharp point where its starting to peel off on the shifter and steering wheel its super annoying is this normal?

yup. I don't have it, but I've seen it on here before. only thing you can do is replace it, or take it off, strip/sand it, and paint it.

Starting on the cup holder. Bought a new one from ford. A lot of people swap out the shift knob so probably dont see it as much. To be fair to the fiesta, my Honda was doing the same thing on some of the trim pieces and swapped them all out.
