Piaa Fog Lamps

I've been wondering for a long time now, could THESE Piaa rally style fog lamps be used to replace the original fog lamps, or are all of the fittings wrong, not to mention the bars might get in the way of the trim? If not, are they small enough to fit behind the front grille?

IF you could find a way to mount them without using those covers, maybe.

Mount in grill will look cool but will hinder cooling a bit

Why not just go for the diode dynamics fog lights that are basically a direct fit replacement? Whoosh and several others sell them.
