Newb with interior lights question?

Hello everyone. New here with a simple question. Just ordered some 194 led's for my dome and map lighting and was just wondering if I will need to disconnect the battery when installing these. Thanks in advance.

I did not and was fine.

Nope, no worries. Just one thing to watch, they are polar. If the bulb is installed wrong, they don't light up. Fortunately it's just flip the bulb.

Almost true. Cheapies yes. Not so cheapies nope. I have both types but the omni directional are rare.

I bought Phillips 194 LEDs, and they're polar. Not really something to stress over, just thought a heads up in case a couple didn't light up was good.
