The Wilwood rotor is .810 vs the Mountune .826in. Not a huge difference, much of the heat capacity would depend on the vane design and the rotor weight. For all I know the Wilwood is a heavier rotor or vice versa. That would be one of the big driver's of rotor choice.
AS for the pad selection. The Wilwood uses a a common pad shape. There are a dozen different pad compounds available from Wilwood as well as HAWK and others. No idea on the Mountune kit. That would be a nice if you could buy compounds from people other than Mountune?
