New intercooler and boost levels

Hello,

Recently installed a levels fmic on my 15' fiesta st.
I also have an injen intake and cobb AP.

I ran the car for about 200 miles on stage 1 with the new fmic.

I installed cobbs stage 2 93 octane tune couple days ago.

I've noticed that my peak boost will not go over 18 psi since.

IVe made sure all my connections are tight, and the charge air temps have been awesome since the new fmic.

Any advice would greatly appreciated :)

Check to see if your engine is not pulling timing, using the Cobb accessport gauges. Then, if it is, either change your gasoline to another top tier provider, or try the 91 tune with the 93 gas. See if your boost pressure improves. Which Rev. tune are you running?

I'm at stage 3 and I get 22 PSI+ I have the Mountune hoses and donut eliminator and Murray turbo clamps. I also have the Levels IC, a 2JR downpipe and the FSWERKS exhaust, Mountune intake and airbox covered in thermal insulation to prevent heat soak.

What is KAM? And how do I reset it ?lol

Within the Accessport, I think from the main menu you select install/tunes and in the sub-menu there is a choice to reset the KAM or "Keep Alive Memory", basically ECU data that remembers your driving habits.

If you monitor Cyl. 1 Ign Correction, you can see real time timing advance or retard. Under normal load, your timing correction should be at 0, but under-load like WOT in cool temperatue in favorable conditions I have seen timing advance up to 6 degrees. If the the ECU feels that you are putting in heavy load under un-favorable conditions, like high heat + high gear + high load, it will pull timing sometimes even up to 3 degrees to protect the motor. When you are monitor Cyl 1, the real-time display changes very quickly so be sure to check the little min/max values at the bottom of the monitor.

Ok so I will do this shortly. Do you think doing it through the cobb is better than pulling the battery cable?
What I saw when I just researched KAM

I would just do it through the AP, less work for you, no need to get dirty [thumb]

Ok so IVe reset the ecu and the KAM. Still peaked at 17.73psi

Ok so just did some wot runs so far ign corrections for cyl 1 has been 1.50. Good or bad

Just did 1st to 2nd wot ign correction 2.25 peaked at 16.78 charge air temp was 97* ambient 86*

Plus is good, Minus means your engine is pulling timing. Sounds like you have a boost leak. When was the last time you tightened your hose clamps?

I just put the new front mount on like 5 days ago. I did the levels with the factory piping. All the clamps were tight. Maybe I can go back over them I don't know. The psi was 19-20 before I put on the new fmic.

Did you grease up the couplers with silicone and shove them in so there's a small gap between the hoses and the coupler, about 1-1/2 to 2"? Also, you need to make sure you place the clamp outside of the bead on the coupler and about 1/2" inside of the end of the hose. Don't put the clamp on the edge of the hose.

Here is a photo I have of my IC showing the Murray clamp on the right side of the IC. The left side coupler isn't shoved in enough. The right side is.
