For the FiST we need to lower the front subframe to install a front sway bar. I've been researching the Eibach kit and came across a post from Cobb stating that an alignment would likely be necessary after installation of the front sway bar due to unbolting the front subframe. Does anyone have any experience with or input on this? Thanks in advance!

Yes. After loosening the subframe you won't be able to put it back EXACTLY where it was, requiring an alignment.

In order to remove the front sway bar you do need to lower the back of the sub frame.
This is done by removing the two rear bolts but only loosening the front bolts.
Although it is true the exact position of the sub frame will not be maintained upon re-install, it will only be off by a fraction.
It really depends on how anal you are.

I have swapped front sway bars three times and re-aligned only on two of those occasions.
On the one time I didn't, I noticed no adverse steering conditions or tire wear.

Thanks for the responses, guys [twothumb] I just had an alignment done on Friday, thinking that I would do the sway bars in the future, and now am wishing I had done them before the alignment [facepalm]
