So I've looked through the thread and can't seem to find the part numbers for the stock pads and rotors, front and rear. It's that time for me and the dealership quoted me at $900, but I have a feeling I can definitely get cheaper than that. As always, any help would be appreciated!

I think the rotors are pretty cheap, $40-60 each, pads were not available last time I bought so I spent too much.

I think the parts total should be around $300.

Cool. I'll have my mechanic order the parts and hopefully they are in stock and order the correct ones. Seems to be a problem everybody goes to order these parts for our car.

Anybody have any luck with Akebono pads? My brother can get them from Advanced Auto where he works. I haven't anything about them though.

Rotors are $56 each for front, pads got bumped up to a ridiculous $116, rears are $35 a piece and pads are $67. Factory parts of course and the "track" versions that came on 2014s. If you are looking for the all season versions, I do not know prices.

You happen to know the part numbers though? That's what I'm looking for. I know I'm going to have to pay for the parts but trying to get the parts myself then have somebody, other than the dealership, install them. I just don't know the part numbers.

MOTORCRAFT Front Brake Pads (AY1Z2001D after 6/12/2014) [BRF1494]
MOTORCRAFT Rear Brake Pads (C1BZ2200A after 6/24/2013) [BRF1444]

MOTORCRAFT Front Rotor (AY1Z1125A) [BRRF206]
MOTORCRAFT Rear Rotor (C1BZ2C026A) [BRRF207]

Those were found on Rock Auto, so double check the fitment. fordparts.com should have the parts list.

Okay, thanks. I'm going to make some calls soon and get hopefully get this whole process moving. I don't mind spending the extra cash for quality OEM parts but $900 is pushing it, to be honest.

Why not go with the Mountune upgrade? F&R pads + lines for $299.

And Tire Rack has basic but decent front rotors for $58 each.

I actually really like the OEM ones; I'm just not paying the $900 fee from the dealership. I'm just looking for the OEM part numbers so I can either order them or give them to my mechanic so he can order them and install them at a cheaper price.

Duh, that's exactly what you said in your original post. Sorry for posting non-useful information. Tasca parts is usually good on prices. I'd check them out for OEM stuff.

Not non useful. Just useless in this particular incident. Appreciate the reply though. And already gave Tasca a call.

I just called my local dealer, gave my VIN, and got pricing...didn't ask for part numbers though. Guess I should have thought of that haha! Honestly, I'll probably do factory rotors all around and mountune front pads, factory rears. Maybe mountune rears but I'm afraid to spend that extra cash on the pads and have them wear out quickly when the electronic nannies brake the rears around corners.

I called another dealership and they quoted me at 600. So I'll be going there. ST OEM parts and everything.

How many miles are you in on your rotors/pads?

Edit: and which dealerships gave you which quotes?

Just hit 30k and they started squeaking today. So definitely time. And a dealership in Virginia quoted me at 900 and a PA dealership quoted me at 600. I guess that's the city mark up. Same work and part numbers and everything. I had them double check to make sure they were ST parts.

following i'm going to have to replace my pads soon also.. cars at 13500 miles but at slow speeds the rears started making a metal to metal noise today. probably going to the mountune pads if it doesn't effect warranty.

My rears started making noise at me today and I'm only 8k miles in. Seems suspicious that my pads would be gone already considering I don't do much spirited driving, but it's good to know the price range just in case I guess. Bah.

I really enjoy the oem set up so I'm sticking with them. I don't mind the brake dust especially in exchange for the excellent performance they offer. I'm going to all black wheels in the Springs anyway.

for 600 you could just do a upgrade on everything. Check out KNS brakes, I got stoptech rotors, ss lines, hawk 5.0 and hps pads for I think around 500
