Need help diagnosing a scraping noise under braking

I’ll upload a video tmrw but basically I hear scraping/dragging (sounds like the brake dust shield being scraped) when coming to a stop only.

Don’t hear it when braking at higher speeds, maybe because it’s not loud enough, I start hearing it around 30mph and lower when coming to a stop. Does not make the same noise when I use e brake to a stop (but I haven’t tried braking hard w the e brake yet, will do that too to rule out), not related to rpm, or whether it’s warm or not. I think I do hear it under hard engine braking but it’s not as loud. Haven’t heard it when braking in reverse but I need to find a a spot to hit 25mph in reverse lol. If braking very lightly to a stop I don’t hear it. I took apart the front and rear driver side brakes and nothing seems to be scraping. It’s possible it’s one of the pad retainer clips scraping, or possibly brake dust shield. I think I did replicate the sound when turning the wheels/rotors while the car was in the air but only when I misaligned the rotor. I guess it could just be brakes but when aligned there is no noise, however the tolerances are tight so I can imagine being at speed would change that.
edit: no uneven wear on pads or rotors as far as I can tell

I just want some advice on how I can rule out CV, diff, or something w the drivetrain. I guess I’ll try ruling out the passenger side brakes once I get it in the air again. I really don’t want to pay a shop for them to say nothing is wrong.
