My roommate talked me out of a Prius C and into a FiST. Couldn't be happier!

He drives the FoST (other roommate has a modded Cobalt SS, so weekend twisties will be fast and fun). He told me to look into the Fiesta as I wanted a small hatchback since my Taco is not good as a DD. I didn't even know about the FiST 2 months ago. Spent a few weeks researching and looking for deals around me. Found a used 2015 with what I wanted. It came with 14k miles, tinted windows and a mountune exhaust, feel like a got a decent deal (for WA anyways) at $16.4k before TTL. Already have a drop in filter, boomba shift knob, fswerks short throw, and a couple other parts on the way. I plan on tuning after the B2B warranty runs out. Can't wait for summer!

Haha yeah. Glad I went with something that I can smile each time I drive.

DAMN wise friend and taking his advice for you as well!

I bought a P**** back in 05 with intentions of many mods, high end audio, show car for Sema and CES, turbo it, etc....but 4 days later I traded it back in, it was the worst car I ever drove, felt like some appliance and not a car at all.

My elderly mother owns a Prius C and you really dodged a bullet there. At least mom's is Habanero Orange...

When I bought mine luckily it was barely used, first day I put real tires on it as the rock hard, noise, no grip eco whatever tires were horrid. That helped but far from enough but if I could of safely made the 200 VDC batter pack run a 12 volt ultra high end audio system I would of kept the car, had custom suspension made for it, turbo charged it, etc as it was to be a demo car for the business but had to drive like a car not an appliance. It was going to cost $15k to buy three converters to make the 12volt system work with no idea if the factory ECU would even accept it and not flip out and 20 VDC is deadly if you ever touch it your dead almost always or so horribly burnt inside and out would want to be dead.

It would of been cheaper and easier besides safer to gut the hybrid part out, and go conventional and keep it a secret.
