I apologize about pics. its an age thing. however early on post number 30, adam posted the dyno results. they are uncorrected on a real dyno in st paul,....I will find out how to post the e30 tune graph... bobn
hey vegaspyder> on the way from Minnesota to Colorado I was lucky to hit places it was fairly easy to get a e30 mix. on the way back it didn't work out. slightly different route and poor timing. so back to a slot on the map that was dyno tuned for 91 with no ethanol.
....here is what I thought....the pump gas x37 set up was about the same as an aggressive stage three from mountune. just was half the price of the stage three setup. all of the mountune parts were great quality. but the mp215 hand held unit alone (along with the upgrade to 230) added up to cost the same as the turbo. guess which I would have rather had in the first place....bob
I'm stage 3 right now and have a deadhook race fmic and crashbar so I'm definitely ready for any turbo. I can always do a tune for a e85 mix, but I'd hope the car would still feel much faster with the turbo than it currently does even while running 91. Just having a progressive pull instead of the car running out of steam early would almost be worth it just for that.
