My old exhaust

I'm replacing my exhaust this week so I'll be left with the stock exhaust from a '16 FiST. Is there an aftermarket for these or do I just take it to a local shop to throw into the metal recycling? Thanks in advance for the help.

Here's another question: why wouldn't you sell the car with the upgrades?

The re-sale value of your car won't be much affected by aftermarket parts. I mean if carvana offers you X amount of dollars for your car, they are not going to compensate you accordingly for all the extra bolt on parts you may have added. They might for one or two specific items but I think as a whole they won't ask. I think most people (and I agree 100%) find that selling the parts individually is much more profitable than just "giving them away" on the car....

That's what I figured. Thanks for confirming it. A kid at a local tire place told me he sold his Focus ST for quite a bit over Blue Book, but it was to another kid who wanted something with upgrades. That seems to be the trick, find a buyer who's looking for an upgraded car.

I've got my FSWerks exhaust installed now. I was having a lot of trouble cutting through the pipe for the removal of the old exhaust, so I made a trip to a local muffler shop where I paid $125 for installation, which was probably the smartest thing to do as the bolts to the down tube ended up being really frozen. My car sounds pretty sweet now and I've upped my Cobb tune to stage 2.
