My new to me 2019 with 29k miles

Howdy folks. Making my long awaited post on the forum here. I've wanted one of these cars since I was 16-17 years old. Ended up driving a 2011 mazdaspeed 3 for about 5 1/2 years which I put a lot of money and effort into over the years, it was a great car but had to move on. Fast forward to now, I'm 23 and very glad to be in a fiesta. Found this car for sale on facebook here in texas with a rebuilt title after a fairly minor front end collision. With only 29k miles this was a great find. The car is completely stock except for a cobb intercooler core that went on after the crash. Have plans to do a simple build over the next couple years similar to how I built my mazda which was FBO, e30, and lowered.

Although I didn't have a Mazdaspeed 3, I do have a Focus ST.

So we both are going from sporty hatchbacks to smaller sporty hatchbacks. I'm 28 btw.

So I'm curious how it's going for someone that is very similar to me

I think the FiST is just more agile than the FoST. It's not faster or more comfortable. It's just more fun to drive.

Its been really nice. I like driving small cars, it does feel noticeably smaller than my speed3 but not in a bad way.

I think I was looking at a quote from Geico a few months back (currently a geico customer) and it was I believe like $230, here in Henderson (20 minutes away from Las Vegas).

Yup very true, I love the proportions of the car. I can't wait to hurl it around corners on the way from work everyday lol. Also curious what it'll be like on the highway day to day for work commute (noise, comfort, etc.)

Im paying well over $300 for insurance right now, not great. I have a squeaky clean driving record. Saw you ask how the comfort is on the highway, it's not luxury by any means. I used to have an rsx type s that had 4 solid engine mounts and a droning exhaust and that was absolutely horrible on the highway. Point being, this is a huge upgrade from that and it is more than tolerable for me.

If the bank or lender still owns the car, he has to carry full coverage.

More than likely $3,600 / year yes. It's not unusual and is why specifically the auto industry rakes in the profits like few others since coverage became a government mandate. Unfortunately, price fixing and collusion means he won't see much variance in pricing when shopping around. Among other things, the consumer protections act circa 2008, aimed to impact some of these issues but was watered down and eventually negated with continuing lobbyist efforts.
