Got a 2011 SES for $600, its worn out with 160k miles. But the title is clean and the body is perfect. Then I got a salvage 2017 ST with 31k on it for $3200. Not a devastating side impact. I put a tire on it from the 2011 and it rips. Even has brand new oil in it. Someone loved that car. Interior is spotless. But the title is salvage and fixing it, branding it ect, na to much money. So here I am, a Ford tech by trade, that got bored on copart on day. Im guna FiST that SES into a fake ST. Bumpers, hood, fenders, driver side doors, passenger side handles, dash, everything is moving on over. Curious how long its going to take me. Going to do a wrap on it cause half blue half orange will be.... I just cant. Color for wrap ideas welcome. I do like this Orange.

So I just got the ST home Monday. One of my bays has an acadia dead in it, I need to keep my lift open, and im not doing a swap on that scissor lift. Going to start with some body stuff Wed. Hatch swap, pull rear bumper and side skirts, headliner (easy cause curtains went off from impact), driver seat, ill pull passenger seat and take it home to takes it cover off for the sewing machine guy to stitch up, then go home. Ill swap the rear suspenson Thursday. Friday i want it get the engine/front subframe and suspension yanked pulled from the blue car/dropped on roller and push back. Saturday hope to rip the ecoboost out and get it all ripped out dropped and rolled out. sunday blue comes back in and in goes the st stuff until it rolls. Next week is the remining parts to get it fired up, pull and swap dashes and body harnesses really. I need fuel tank and lines..... what else?

Got the hatch swapped out. Did this just for the wing and newer wiper motor. Got the rear bumper and side skirts pulled, driver seat swapped and passanger pulled. Rear interior trim pulled, well the top half anyway. I,m changing out the 2011 white parts with the black from the st. Headliner pulled from ST but curtains did go off. Not sure I'm going to be able to work the wrinkle out. Ill source a new black one if I cant get it to behave a little better. I can deal with a crease in it but not it pulling away from the weather stripping. Looks funny orange and blue, I knew it would. Had to work later then I wanted so wasn't able to get rear swapped, but its only 10 bolts, 4 for shocks and 6 on pivot mounts. 2 brake lines and parking cables..... those will probably take long then I want. looks like I need to drop the exhaust on both cars.
Think I have settled on a color..... almost the same as my purple S to the left over there. Thinking of giving this stuff a shot. https://metrorestyling.com/products/kpmf-matte-iced-amethyst-titanium-vinyl-wrap-k75568 should hopefully look a lot like this purple guy.
Time invested so far 2hrs.

thats a fair point - ironically, my Fiesta is my most expensive vehicle to insure, although it is by far the cheapest. Irritating.
My 2017 Raptor with full coverage costs the same as my 2016 FiST with liability only.

What the hell kind of insurance are you guys using??? My fiesta is $44/month for 250/500 with collision and “other than collision” at a $500 deductible.

Also this build looks fun. Are you swapping the full ST drivetrain over?

State Farm, coverage similar to my other cars - $159/month - I am in my 50's with a clean record...its almost 2x what my F350 costs.
