MORE drone exiting out back compared to axle dump

I've been running my car stock exhaust just cut it before the bends going over the axle. With the pre axle dump the car was very quiet on the freeway and no drone at all while accelerating under 2500 even tho muffler is missing. I found it quite nice it was LOUD when stepped on and quiet when saving gas. I also heard all the cool pop bang shift noises and the car was super deep sounding all from the drivers seat.
Today I finally had time to go get it routed out the back with my new tips and I'm hating the sound. It drones so much under normal acceleration under 2500 rpm. On the freeway it hurts my ears. All the cool noises are only heard on the exterior now. I would've never imagined this to be the case but I guess it makes sense since I added more bends and it resonates the back of the car now?
Do I go back to axle dump or should I try a side exit? Maybe someone can help me here. Thanks

Weld in a resonator. I think there’s a thread somewhere by @Clint Beastwood where he explores multiple resonator options to reduce drone. Or get a proper exhaust. Thermal and Cobb sound the best depending on whether you want 2.5” or 3”

My issue with resonators is they'll quiet my exhaust down as well. I'm figuring I'll probably just put a turn down before the axle again. Then I'll have to figure out how to block off the hole in the bumper cuz it bugs me. Does the piping have anything to do with this? The shop used aluminized pipe

When your factory system ended before the axle without any turn down added, did you get any exhaust fumes into the cabin?

I guess there was something wrong with my ears. Took it for another drive and now it's just what you'd expect... Quieter than the axle dump. I did notice the range of pedal where it's quiet is different than with the axle dump. Maybe it's cuz I did a second drive now? Idk either way case dismissed lol
