Your saying a car with a different gear ratio ( not 1:1 ) and 45lbs tire/wheels vs 30lbs tire and wheels will not make a difference it driveline lose from transmitting power X engine power to the ground?...
I'm saying you don't drive around without tires and no wheels. So the tires you dyno with, are the tires you drive on the street with. I've dynoed hundreds of cars and not a single one was a hovercraft or drove to work or on the track in a climate controlled bubble.

The one exception is a Dynapak which attaches to the hubs of cars after you take the wheels off the car. The dyno, when set up properly compensates for the tire/wheel size and weight. The key word here is "properly".

As far as gear ratio. It is extremely misunderstood. I've already posted about this earlier this year on this forum. A properly tuned car on a properly set up dyno that simulates the road as close as possible will show approx the same HP peak numbers in every gear, but the torque peak will come on sooner and slightly higher the higher the gear as it loads up the car differently in higher gears so the VE curves shift left, same as on the street. I have a good amount of data and dyno curves from this if you wish to see it.

I'm pointing out, I'm not going to be on a properly set dyno, and while 95% of fiesta ST's are using lighter, shorter tires/wheels than I am. We will be comparing my ENGINE power to others ENGINE POWER, so... The difference in wheels/tires/brakes is relevant.

Other wise. You are correct, if my car was bone stock, the number the machine spits out, really doesn't matter.

Unless you are taking your engine out and putting it on an engine dyno, then no, you are not going to be comparing engine power, you are going to be comparing wheel power as measured from a dynamometer.

You already have a relative baseline, now dyno after you have tuned the car with the frankenstein turbo and you can show before / after gains.

Yes. I agree with that :)

I just mean... If were to compare my car vs say.... Rick's car but with a stock turbo, he'd kick my butt likely anyway on the same dyno because he lost like 30lbs per corner by using light brakes, light wheels, and likely lighter/smaller tires ( mine were $76 a piece and huge, how light do you think they are? Lol ).

On the dyno, brakes aren't really going to show anything, they are close to the axle and half of them are stationary, the motor, crank, axles, etc don't even know they are there. Tires will be the biggest change, then wheels, then rotors. Even then, ONLY the front two on this car.

You would be surprised how little it changes too.

That's mine. But I'd imagine I will be paypal-ing them tomorrow to book the spot as close to 7pm as I can ( which is when their event takes place ). They do most things via facebook, which I don't have a FB because I'm basically married :)

Which means that I could show you where I paypal'd them.

Razor, means a lot. Honestly. I'll def have them over-lay it. I still have your email, if its not bat-crap crazy, I'll see if they will email you directly with all 3 plots.

It is an "event", so they maybe in a hurry.

You can always ask them for the actual dyno run files after if it's too busy, they should be able to email them to you.

You can download the WinPEP 7 dyno run viewer from here:

If my friend can run 24psi on straight E85, I think I should be good fuel volume wise, lol. Think 12.0 is too lean? It is targeted at 11.7, not sure why its 12.0 though. One think is for sure. Its still not making incredible power at 6500+. It can spin there, but i shift at 6200rpms still.

It's showing 12.2 to 12.5 out the top? Unless you put the order of items wrong?

Ole yea.... I was eating when I took that, lol. Wonder if fuel cut... Nahhh, IDk, lol. Wonder if my target got changed... I'm a little confused... I've gone back and forth with the new cobb stuff in the last 20 hours or so. It lowers my boost and I think my little spring is giving up.

It's not fuel cut.

Log HPFP actual and desired and fuel trims. This will give you a clearer story of what's going on. If your target is 11.7 then something is going on.
