MAPerformance : E-tuning Review Thread!

It is just a peak, it doesn't hold it. Different load scenarios create different boost especially peak. He might see a spike of 26, but it will immediately down to 24psi as he goes through the RPM.

My target boost is 24psi on pump gas cars. 25-26 on E30, even though the real benefit of the E30 is running more timing.

I only see the 25-26 psi if I am at around 2200-2300 rpm and hit it in 3rd or 4th gear. I'm lucky to see a peak of 22psi when running through the gears. I've learned though that if you are going to run someone from a punch from at around 35-40 mph, starting in 3rd instead of 2nd helps a BUNCH lol

Just got my final revisions from adam for 93 gas with my current mods and it's awesome. Just hit 25 psi last night for the first time. So smooth too.

And Adam is a good dude. He saved me 500 bucks by telling me there's no need for a downpipe. I find that impressive because I know he could have just told me it's worth it and offer MAPs downpipe as a choice, but he didnt. I appreciate the honesty.

Here is how awesome Adam is, like I don't wax poetics enough anyways

Had an ST dyno day today, put the car on the dyno but all my maps had LC enabled which messed gave some issues on the dyno cause the rear wheel is not spinning.

Emailed Adam at noon with a request for a map without LC, got a call back from him within 40 mins, had a new map within an hour. Saved my dyno day slot!

He took time out from his day just to help me with my trival request, good dude for sure, like you guys didn't know already

Another happy ST owner checking in. Adam's tunes are simply the best in the Fiesta world, I know for a fact I would not be enjoying my car as much as I do if it weren't for Adam and his expertise. Currently on my third revision, power is so smooth and there's plenty of it. Thanks Adam!

I'd assume that "someone" will honor the lifetime tunes through MAP. Unless they were always directly bought through Adam in which case I'm sure he will still be doing it since he is still listing himself as a Cobb Pro Tuner on Facebook.

I'm concerned about the products I have on order as well as the current R&D threads just dying. I'm going to wait for Adam to shed some light for us but if not in the morning I'm going to call and see about cancelling my order I think.

Your order is fine, it is in the system and the products are being produced. The only thing this will hinder is the development of the turbo kit. I'm not sure if they are still going to work towards it as my vehicle was the R&D Vehicle. IF they want to move forward I'm still on board to help develop and do the tuning required. I'm a very easy going guy.

Nope still here, I plan on focusing 100% on calibration development, not just part time. So this is good news for everyone that was looking to get some tuning.

No need, you will be good! Hang tight as I know they are a little backed up in CNC operations right now and they needed to cut the BOV block offs and the MAP sensor flanges for the cold pipe.
