Shipment is here and we did mock test fitting today. Thank you to Anthony for volunteering your car for the mock up. Can't wait to see when you're car is done. =)
everything fits great. once the flares are bolting the pieces down, it would snug up pretty well. I personally would use a thin gasket (side skirt trim like on oem side skirts for say toyotas) between the flares and the body of the car to reduce any noise from vibration. on my older cars that ive had fender flares that were not molded to be one piece, this would prevent a squeak noise from fiberglass touching the metal, then vibrating at high speeds. They fit well w/o the liner method, but that's what i've always done. On my project teal fiesta i did the thin gasket method.
overall Anthony liked how it looks on his car. I did not fully install the flares on his car as he's not ready to cut up his car yet lol. but just on the mock up, everything looks great. Let me know thoughts, opinons, questions, etc. thanks!
have 9 sets left one already sold yesterday =)
