Strong baseline run! Nice tuned numbers too! This a dynojet or mustang dyno?
Also peak gains aren't as important as under the curve gains. Post the dyno graph so we can marvel at the gains at 3k RPM

Very impressive obviously its reading high but before and after is what matters. Didn't you also say you were running the 91 tune as well? That's very impressive especially if its on the 91

Was this better then the stratified tune? Also you sold the cobb Turner and bought livornoise tuner?

You can get a P3 gauge, fitted in the driver side air vent to data log a parameter for 15 sec. Costly though [sad] but looks clean.

The one con here is that the tuner/calibrator itself leaves a lot to be desired. I won't boast that it's great, because it isn't. You basically have the option to return to stock, or flash the 91/93 octane tune. There is no way to live monitor or datalog, which is a huge disadvantage but if you are running a companies tune anyways it shouldn't really matter.

Also, I tried connecting the AP3 while flashed on the LM tune and the AP3 has to be installed to your vehicle to use the "gauges" feature, so you can't go that route if you want to have live gauges, either. So honestly I'm not sure how you would be able to datalog while on this tune. When I was on the Stratified tune, I literally placed the Accessport in the glovebox and never touched it again, so this doesn't really make a huge difference for me.

Interesting and good to hear. Does the tune allow for flat foot shifting? What is max boost?
The TDI EcoBoost cars are not your traditional turbo system. They do not make power to a certain PSI, and then shift gears to start anew. The EcoBoost cars are all controlled by torque management. This means that the ECM could not care any less if you need 2#s to make X number of lb ft, or if it takes 20#s to make the same number.

I got my tune done friday like 2 minutes before i got off work! I was pumped! So i flashed it and then drove home. My immediate reaction, I was unimpressed.. I then went that night to go cruise at the local hang outs. The car felt amazing!! I think that it being near 100 degree's and in stop and go traffic. I couldn't get a feel for it after work.
But dropping to the 70's and some open roads, i really noticed the massive torque increase and the added power in the higher rpms.

It doesn't spin second at all though like some said, it does fix this 1-2 shift and bog feeling though. It shifts hard and pulls hard without the slight power loss in the stock tune when hard shifting.

Flat footed shifting felt amazing, and smooth.

All in all, the car feels much stronger and loves cold weather.. I need an intercooler..

You feel the limit of stock components really quick with this tune. If anything, it will make you want to get bolt ons faster. A few days after my dyno and I've already purchased a catback. I will be getting a FMIC soon, as well.

Way to shoot for the stars, huh!?!

I will definitely bring this up in my meeting with ownership tomorrow morning.
Well, it certainly makes sense...being that your recommendation for Livernois stage 2 for the FiST is upgraded turbo as well as FMIC and DP. So maybe even go further and offer a complete stage 2 kit including the FMIC and DP (and/or whatever else Livernois would consider stage 2).

For what it's worth, I decided to give Livernois Motorsports Tune a try as well, like OffTheWall503. Called Anthony from Livernois regarding the Tune and had a good 15-20 minutes chat about the Tune, their usage of MyCal and the Ecoboost platform, as well as Torco additives. A friendly and detail oriented guy. Does not talk to you in a condescending manner.

Had a chance over the weekend to drive it around and see how it compares to Stratified and allow time for the tune to adapt. I used 92 octane with the 91 Tune. I have the Mishimoto I/C as well.

So, for everyday driving with gradual push of the pedal, it behaves very much like stock. The Stratified was a bit more peppy in everyday driving, in that sense. Now, when the pedal is pushed > 50% in a quick manner, WHOA, the Power Band is more broad from 2500-6000 rpm. Does not have the "Donkey Kick" sensation and does not run out of steam after 5000 rpm. The pull is very linear, but forceful. It feels like the car has another cylinder put in. Just a good amount of pull from midrange to redline. No fuss, no must. This Tune may just be the most well kept secret and underrated thing! Makes driving the FiST that much more enjoyable. There's no Rev Hang, that I could discern. Shifting is smooth, similar to Stratified. Stratified is great and I love their tune, but Livernois did something that made the FiST even better, IMO. I am quite surprised and pleased.

I'm really just kind of shocked that there are so many people who choose the Cobb AP and their OTS or custom tuning from someone versus Livernois. I mean, the sales numbers don't even seem anywhere close. The Cobb unit sells probably 100:1 compared to the Livernois tuner. I can see maybe most people liking the extra features that Cobb offers on their AP but still surprised there are THAT many people who do. I feel that what hurts Livernois is the lack of marketing or something. Their name and this tuning option is probably not even known to many people. I could be wrong on that but that's what it feels like. This is pretty much the only thread dedicated to discussing this tune. There's just not much information or discussion on this option outside of this thread.

Anyway, thanks for another review. I'm still heavily leaning towards going the Livernois route. And at this point, I think I'm only planning on going Stage 2 at the most.

NP, and don't worry about Livernois's lack of marketing. When I spoke to Anthony from Livernois, he said that he's answering 40-60 emails of actual tuning/day [ohcrap]. Ecoboost platform is one of their Forte, and that's a wide selection of Ford cars [like].
