I was able to flash the 91 octane tune to my car during my lunch break but sadly I only drove the car about 1 mile to grab lunch and come back.

Will give my impressions after some solid time behind the wheel. But initially, 1st and 2nd feel very similar to stock in that it doesn't pull aggressively like the Stratified tune does. Personally after going back to stock for the last day, I forgot how smooth it was in 1st and 2nd gear.

Some people may like how power violently kicks in, but I prefer smooth power delivery. It also feels smoother between gear changes where the Stratified felt a little rougher, as did the Mountune from my experience with that for a short time.

So so far, you like the Livernois tune better than Stratified and Mountune? Can't wait to hear more of your thoughts with more driving, especially since you've had other tunes before.

In the half mile drive each way to get food and back, I can't give a definite answer. Just giving my initial impressions from that short period of time.

Livernois also states that the computer adapts and learns for a certain period of time too, so I'll be reserving judgment for the next week or so.

And I plan on getting it dyno'd in the next month, hopefully. I wonder though if I won't get maximum numbers if I switch to stock then immediately back to the LM map after 3 dyno pulls from stock Livernois Motorsports?

Holy cow! This tune pulls hard to redline! I'm very impressed so far.

Short impressions thus far: Feels like stock out of boost, pulls very hard to redline when punching it.

That's what I wanted to hear. I never doubted livernois for a second. These guys are beasts!

More impressive than Stratified Tune?Any donkey kick sensation when on boost? Power delivery is smooth to redline when on boost? How's the shifting?

The feel when boost kicks in is much smoother than the Stratified tune. If you like the "donkey kick" feel then you may like the Stratified but the pulling feels much better with the LM tune and seems to go higher to redline. I will say shifting is a lot smoother, the Mountune and Stratified were pretty rough. I can't seem to notice any significant rev hang.

By the way, in my no way am I downplaying the Stratified tune. They do a fantastic job and I loved their tune as well.

So far my preferences by most favorite to least favorite are: Livernois > Stratified > Mountune > Cobb Stage 1 OTS

Interesting and good to hear. Does the tune allow for flat foot shifting? What is max boost?

I wanted to see if they could add decel exhaust popping, coming from srt4 world i really miss my exhaust crackles. I called them and they said that has more to do with the valve and engine design than the tune.

I set up an appointment for dyno runs Friday morning.

I will try to see if I can get 3 pulls stock and 3 pulls with the LM tune. They are charging me $75 and said it'd be ok to flash to stock and do pulls and compare to the LM tune, but if they want more for 6 total pulls then I may just do the LM tune-only pulls. I'd love to see the difference between stock and with the tune but not for $150.

They may work with you, but they are a business (not sure what kind of rapport you have with the dyno shop). My experience is they charge you about 60-75 dollars for three runs, or you can rent the dyno for an hourly rate and get as many runs as you like in the time allotted.

That being said, I'd love to see the comparison dynos. I hope you can make it happen.

No problem. Thanks for the eval. I recalled that it may be 22 psi earlier at the beginning of this thread. Just wanted to confirm.
The op claimed they got 2 psi peak extra accross the board which would be 23 assuming stock 21. They change total boost and how boost comes on and bow it stays there as well. They REAAAAALLLY know their stuff when it comes to the ecoboost lol

Stock 21 psi is with overboost, IIRC. So, LMS tune is making this 23 psi all the time?

I tried hooking up my uninstalled Accessport before I shipped it to see if it would allow the gauge function but it has to be installed to the vehicle to use them. :(
