Runs down the (much) lower amp hour, smaller capacity racing batteries way too quickly, especially if it is for more than a few minutes.

It becomes more of an issue when one lives in a colder climate, and needs every one of those cold cranking amps in the winter, along with the added detriment of not being able to charge the battery in the car with a charger, due to living in an apartment.

How cold does it get there in winter, in your part of Oz?

You could get a portable battery jump starter.

In Melbourne our coldest month is an average low temperature over night of 6°c (43°f) but obviously sometimes it does get a little colder. It does get to 0°c (32°f) but that is rare, that might happen once per winter over night.

The battery i have is the SMF65L 640CCA which apparently weighs 14.4kg (31.68lbs) but I have seen another website say 16.2kg (35.64lbs) but I think it's 14.4kg since multiple say that.
Someone told me this battery is huge and they use it in their Nissan Patrol, no idea what it's doing in a Fiesta.
