Hit 20k miles a few weeks ago. I bought a cheap boroscope for the purpose of checking out my intake valves instead of pulling the manifold just yet. Please excuse the quality, $20 will only do so well lol.
Bought car new in May 2014, Injen intake at 40 miles, full stage 3 and catless at 10k, just to give you an idea. I use Motorcraft Full Synth 5w20 every 5-7k miles, depending on track time. Gasoline used is local 'non-top tier' stations, United Dairy Farmers for you southern Ohio peeps. For reasons I can't explain, my car get about 10% less mileage AND pulls timing on Top Tier gas such as BP or Shell. I don't know, my car is just damn strange. Car saw 2.5 hours of WOT at a Mid-Ohio track day in May and about 50 autocross runs in the past 3 months. Daily commute is 4 miles city driving, 16 miles highway with lots of WOT on the weekend backroads. To say the least, the car gets an Italian Tune-Up nearly every week, if not day. I plan on removing the intake manifold after once I get back from Tail of the Dragon next week and cleaning it "manually" with strangely shaped picks and lots of patience. Hope to have a fresh start with the OCCs coming out and recently added a breather as per peltonracer's threads in the past.
For you cone jockeys, my car runs in DSP and is currently #1 in that division with Dunlop D2s with a factory suspension with Cobb bars. My life expectancy for the tires is about 5,000 miles.
