Installing a Cobb CAI

Please forgive me if this has been addressed before. I have a Cobb CAI coming to me and I cannot wait to have it installed. However, I am hearing from a few people that I will also need a tune if I install it to avoid running lean. I can't see how it would have that much impact on the car but I figured I would open the floor for a discussion. Thank you all in advance.
