If you have time, post your impressions of the Stage 1. I just picked up a 2016 (black also) last week and would like to do the same as you.

I am happy with the 25% FSWerks short shifter ($80). I also did the transmission aluminum shift bushings ($28). The Mountune Sport Spring is something I would do again. I also installed an accelerator peddle spacer which reduces foot travel, this helps with quicker shifts but also in commuter traffic because you don’t have to lift you foot a much.

Okay, cool im just gonna go with 93, cant wait for my AP

I went back and forth 87 and 93; while it was stock it didn't make much of a difference as I was just commuting and driving around town. Supposedly there's a difference but for putzing around town it didn't matter enough for me to run higher octane. Personal opinion though.

But since I've had the Cobb AcessPort I tuned for 93 and have only run that since. When you get an AP there's an interface in which you'll choose either 91 or 93 octane when you load stage 1 and up. Since we're in VA go for 93 as it's easier to find.

Stage 1 (Cobb AP + drop in air filter) really wakes the car up. This mod will be the most bang for your buck by far and is the easiest installation of any performance upgrade. Most retailers will throw in the filter for cheap if you buy an AP. If they won't then find it from another forum member. Hell I'll give you mine if you come down here as I'm not using it anymore! On paper stage 1 adds something like 20 hp but what you really notice is that the boost restrictions are removed in the lower gears, so it feels way faster. You will get some torque steer!

I recommend getting a roll restrictor aka rear motor mount. What this does is keep your engine from moving around (front to back) as much. You may experience a bang with the stock one, where the engine hits the firewall on very hard acceleration. The RMM also helps control wheel hop. Cobb makes a fantastic one that I personally use, and many retailers will sell the AP + air filter + RMM as a package - I should have gotten that!
There are other brands of RMM's and they will vary in terms of softness, where some sacrifice NVH for control. The most popular are the ones made by Cobb, Mountune, Boomba, and CP-e. I have owned both one by Cobb and Boomba, and have written my thoughts here on this thread: http://www.fiestastforum.com/forum/threads/7995-Cobb-and-Boomba-RMM-Review

PS - NATCA, nice! My dad was a controller at a center, then moved to the command center for his career.

I'm definitely going to go with a COBB Stage 1, but I'm still not sure about the RMM; read some threads about increased vibrations at idle, especially with the A/C on. Also see that you're a fellow motorcyclist. I have a 2007 Suzuki Hayabusa in the garage. Never rode a Ducati, but I love the looks of them.

I'll check the maps out. 50$ though? Might be going stage 2 soon even though my stage 1 parts haven't came yet. Would be a waste if I bought that map?

ChuckL is you're concerned about vibrations, but decide you want less engine movement then look at the Moutune RMM or the Cobb.
STevie if you're interested in upgrading intercoolers consider the products Deadhook Motorsports (@DHM) makes. I have his factory fit one and I love it. When I was pricing things out I found it performed just as well (if not better) than the Cobb but was considerably cheaper. Russ is a great guy and makes great stuff.

Rock on guys, keep the rubber side down on the bikes [rockon]
