Ordered a Private Label (PLM) catless downpipe...

Not sure how many of you are familiar with Private Label MFG (or PLM), but they got somewhat popular in the S2000 community selling replica Js headers. Yes, they make Chinese knockoff stuff. But in my past experiences, their products provided outstanding quality for minimal cost.

When I saw they offered a downpipe for the FiST, I decided I'd give it a shot. The design looks like it would flow very well, the materials are good, and it's cheap. Fitment on their header, which I had on my first S2000 was perfect...I'm hoping I'll experience the same for this.

Here's a link to the eBay auction I bought it from. I'm not affiliated with the company nor this seller in any way. I hope I'm not breaking any rules by posting this.

Historically, they've always accepted lowball offers. Profit margins must be pretty good. So I threw in an offer of $230 shipped and they accepted it. I haven't seen anyone else running these downpipes on these cars nor have I seen any feedback on them. So if I have it by the weekend, I'll be doing a little write-up with photos and will report back with results.

I'm aware, and no offense taken - I appreciate the input. There's also the Depo downpipe which gets decent reviews and looks exactly the same as the CNT. I'm just not a fan of that design as the outlet from the turbo takes a sharp bend into a 3" pipe. This downpipe has a big 3.5" bend for the air to flow before entering the 3" pipe. Not going to argue physics here but based on the design and my past experiences with their products, plus with the lack of feedback within the community, I figured I'd experiment for the greater good of this forum. :)

Is PLM the same company that makes racing header for 06-11 civic si's ? That company sounds familiar .

Nice, I hope everything works out great, I would like to see the results. I have a Depot DP and am very happy with it so far. Nice to see a few other less expensive options out there.

I measured the downpipe to catback flange and it measures 3.0". Correct me if I'm wrong, but this will not fit the stock exhaust flange, right? If so, this contradicts what their description states.

Looks like the DP will bolt up, even if it does go into the bottle necked 2.25" exhaust. I'm having a custom exhaust done in a few weeks so it will just be temporary. Review for the downpipe is still coming this weekend - everything is going in Sunday. Just wanted to make anyone else interested aware that this DP is a true 3" straight through the flange.
