Had to replace the axle on my FiST. Oil came out, is it gear oil or transmission fluid?

Like the title says, I pulled out the front (passenger side) axle on my Fiesta ST (2015, had damage so needed replace). Some fluid came out so when I went to the dealer, they told me it was "dual clutch transmission fluid" but they were not positive. I am wondering if anyone knows whether this is gear oil I need to replace, or whether it is transmission fluid? Thank you!

My '94 man-trans used ATF. It's probably been awhile since passenger autos used gear oil in their man-trans. Even the power steering system used ATF instead of power-steering fluid.
