You can use cruise. Just don't push the buttons wrong.

Here are the instructions from Cobb:
  1. Flash a map with 5-way map switching enabled
  2. Click cancel/resume button on your cruise control in order to activate the switching.
  3. Use "Set -" and "Set +" to change between available maps.
  4. Map position will be marked on the tachometer by the needle sweeping to 1,2,3,4, or 5. Or you are able to add a gauge on the Accessport to monitor map position.
On OTS maps

Focus ST/Fiesta ST - Slot 1 is High Performance, Slot 2 is Economy Mode

Just use the buttons to pick your tune, then use the cruise normally. It only has to be off when you're selecting your tune. Launch control is #2 on mine.

Launch control isn’t staying on when I turn the car off and back on. Idk why. That’s not even touching cruise control. The tune is though. 🤷🏻‍♂️

I've never set it on that. Maybe it's a safety thing. You're not going to start a cold engine and do launches. At least I hope not.
I dunno. Maybe someone else can pipe in about it.

I’m an auto tech for a living and was a Ford tech for almost 10 years lol I’m not that dumb. Just didn’t get a lot of FiST’s.
