I have 205/50/15 on 15x8 and they look perfect to me but more importantly have excellent grip, feedback and control all enhanced by the little bit of stretch and they are great in the rain. I understand you want a bit more sq look, cool, it will not quite give the same overall performance but likely a bit more traction in acceleration and braking grip on dry pavement and a bit less on wet. As long as you are comfortable with that go for it, of course, it will still be the best AS tire for the money and a dang good one overall.
