Gas Mileage?

Unless you're tracking mileage /fuel used, you're numbers are inaccurate. That is you can't believe what the car is telling you.

That said, I've tracked every $ and every gallon over 76668 miles. It's burned, at last fill up, 2671,698 gallons of gas for an average of 28.7 mpg. ... according to the App --Simply Auto--

It had noticeably decreased it's efficiency before my last servicing which included new plugs and air filter and now it's back up to where it's been for most of it's life at ~29 mpg mixed driving.
Not sure who you are directing this towards, but I have tracked my numbers and believe it or not the car is pretty darn accurate! Maybe it can't calculate EXACTLY how many gallons are added to the tank but it can guess at how much was added based on the fullness of the tank and miles driven. If our tanks held tons of fuel I would understand how the average could be off, but we're talking only 12.4 gallons of fuel here. Not a ton of room for errors. So maybe it's off by 1 MPG or so....not a big deal if you ask me.

I’ve been tracking the mileage manually. The guage shows about 3 mpg better than what I’m actually getting. Filled up this morning, drove just shy of 160 miles, and I’m just a little over half a tank left.
My old Mini Cooper S was getting 38 mpg consistently, regardless of temp or driving habits. However, it also spent a lot of time not moving under its own power. I find the FiST to be more enjoyable overall.

I'm in the 22mpg range. Lots of city driving and the occasional blast on the freeways!
I definitely seem to be in the lead footed camp. Averaging 23-26mpg, short commute (12 miles) and between 0-2 WOT jaunts which really drop the gas mileage even in “low boost” mode on Dizzy stage 1. Instantaneous I am seeing 35+ at cruise (70-80mph), so I don’t think there’s anything wrong with the car except the steering wheel to seat interface. I could probably do better if I wasn’t enjoying it.

One sidenote - driving the car *hard* on backroads, I’m still getting ~20mpg which surprised me, although I only occasionally get full throttle in 2nd/3rd gear in the twisties, even uphill.

I should also add that I’m driving on 215/45R16 GeForce Rivals - something a I’ve noticed about 200TW tires is that you’ll typically see a 2-3mpg penalty due to higher rolling resistance, some of which might just be from running a tire that’s extra wide for it’s “listed” size, which is typical for “Super 200’s”

Not sure who you are directing this towards, .
It's directed at EVERYONE who believes what the car is telling them. The car lies. In my experience ALL cars lie about fuel economy and always to make the car look better than it is. ..

While it should be relatively easy to measure the amount of fuel left in the tank to great accuracy, I believe that instead of using fuel left in the tank to determine the amount of fuel used (simple subtraction) the manufacturers use air/fuel ratio calculations from their "hot wire" sensors. And while that might be good to the thousandths in burn calculations, I have yet to see the cumulative effect have as close as 5%.. most usually closer to 10%.. (based on three cars I've owned.. a '15 Miata, '22 C8 and the '14 FiST.)

My best record is 35 mpg but I drove maximum to 50 mph and no acceleration is needed. Normally is 31 mpg drove 60 to 70 mph and some acceleration on city,

Same here. 9.5 mile commute with a few stop signs and traffic lights during the commute. When I take a road trip to visit my parents and/or the in-laws which consists of 75-80mph and 55-65mph speeds, I normally get 27-29mpg. Drive it like I stole it except when it's not at operating temp.
