So when I have extra money just laying around I have an idea for modifying my 2016 St and I wanted some other opinions. So,
1. Lift it if possible
2. Modify the body to open up tire Wells and cut away some of the body
3. Add skid plates and Mickey Thompson tires
4. Rhino line the exterior

Think of like the Baja bug but fiesta.

I wonder if you could use some of the suspension bits from the EcoSport, as they are Fiesta based. I know some folks in the Subaru community have put Forester bits under Imprezas for similar projects.

Next year at the New England Forest Rally, I will grab some pics of the 'zombie' Imprezza WRX, who did exactly what you are suggesting above (but he used some BFG All Terrains on Method wheels instead of the M/Ts).

That thing is there every year spectating/working, and it appears to be outright 'bombproof'!!
