Sorry, only way I would sell the seats is in trade and I had a buyer for the car that wanted the other style of seats. If I end up keeping the car which is becoming quite likely since no serious offers on it I will probably detune it to a moderate or more level and still keep the seats.

As per many build projects I would of parted this car long ago if not for so many of the mods being rather permanent or just needing to many stock parts as either I made major changes to the ones it came with and sold off or gave away the rest since going full time RVing. For all the effort to take it back as far as stock as I could the return on the investment was not that great but mostly the car was built as a total package with very high levels of integration, performance, reliability, etc....Dang faulty Ford issues caused the blown engine, nothing to do with my mods(except $3 hose clamp leaking) once the newer engine is installed it would be an exceptionally reliable car as it was before that happened.

I just do not need this level of a build and demodding does not even make much sense but I will to some degree if I keep it to make it less tempting to get tickets in, far to few places to have fun in it here where we are staying for quite some time.

Good luck on finding some!
Rick

VERY MODDED, VERY WELL DONE, VERY FAST ON TRACK, have also gotten over 40MPG on a highway cruise. WILL CONSIDER part out of major groups but need parts in return as have very few stock parts and no aftermarket ones on hand. Would consider a decent 250WHP or so turbo system, smaller upgraded IC, stock brakes, suspension arms, none LSD transaxle, etc......

Thanks

IF feasable I will consider the Recaro seats, NAV, etc...as might part then sell though might part and keep the car since only 21,000 mostly really easy miles on it, no snow, barely driven in the rain, etc...

$14,900 AS IS!!!!!

I modded the splitter and used Alumalite sheet to make an under tray that went back to the two point brace I build then built a duct into it to draw more heat out of the engine bay. I later I cut it down to half the depth so easier to change the oil, etc....the piece would be pretty easy to attach it back on or just use the pieces to draw out and cut a new one. Alumalite is a great low cost alternative to CF sheet, 4x8, very stiff, easy to work with, super low weight, a bit over $100.

If you part it and want to sell me what you made, I’ll be happy to pay for shipping. Good luck! I thought you sold the car awhile ago.

Update first page to reflect true value of this car.

Mods were $24,300+ not including labor
NADA trade in value is $17,325
Total to replicate this car would be $41,625

New price is $26,900

OBRO (or best reasonable offer:)

Thanks, have a great weekend!

Sorry, did not see a notice of your post, been quite awhile, still available.
I was going to swap the engine this fall but old knee injuries acting up and just could not work on it.
I really wish it was a car I had a need for as would love to fix and keep it but no longer going to do track events and just do not need a car this fast for daily use, to many police in the small community I live in, to much traffic in the mountains, etc....

UPDATE! I am in the process of installing a 2016 Engine with 30k miles, will sell complete car, all mods, both sets of wheels and tires, all options listed in first post are now included at just $14,900. Will full or partial trade for another vehicle depending on what you have to offer.

-----------

NOTE: It will take a few days to complete the swap to the 2016 engine, while apart I will consider trading down to a hybrid turbo setup, water/meth would then be available as well as others items like full cooler setup as a unit, IC, Oil and radiator with highly modded for airflow, ducted core support. And, BBK complete rear axle setup, etc........

IF interested respond sooner than later, please:)
Thanks,
Rick

Back from the dead.
This car needs a new home, been stored way to long, still only 21k miles, tracked two days, one street launch ever. Only hard driving was the track days on original engine, tuning runs, all the rest of the miles were just cruising. I love the car but it simply does not fit in my changing lifestyle at 72 and full time RV so no place to work on it. I have a bunch of maintenance to go through on it just to be sure everything is fresh as needed.

I would consider parts swap deal for stock or mild mod parts but it would be in your garage and you would have to help, I have been dealing with health issues from a far to crazy lide.

Willing to trade towards a 2014 or newer Mazda 3 hatch, prefer 2.5L and manual trans and not many mods or even stock and not banged on all the time.

Let me know what you may have, posting here as RAAM as could not get logged as RAAMaudio for some reason.

Thanks,
Rick

Thanks, overall very healthy considering I inherited some not so great genes, worked on it all my life and will be fine soon again, already getting better and I do not take meds, I eat my way well:)

This is a great place to live, wish I had come here 20 years earlier and bought a nice place but I am more than OK in our RV we are going all out on. I am doing it all myself, top to bottom, inside and out...basically keeping the frame and walls. I also build computers, furniture, do all my own mechanic work, things that go bang, DIY home and car audio and study things by watching and reading great hard science fiction, astrophysicists, geneticists, etc.......now I am studying how to strengthen my telemeres though I forgot how to spell it....I do not watch regular TV of listen to the radio, too much negative brainwashing there.

Got to keep learning to keep the brain healthy!

Have a great weekend!

WOW Rick, I though that your little silver beast was long LONG sold and gone!

Glad to hear that you are doing well!!! [twothumb]

I just got a big relief from a scary few months as I was told just this very afternoon that my pancreatic cyst biopsy came back with a "97% chance of being benign, and only a 3% chance of being cancerous".
(I already survived prostate cancer when I was 53.)

Us 'oldies' (I will be 70 soon) MUST take care of ourselves!!

Wow, getting back from prostate cancer and then being hit with pancreatic are huge ordeals to go through, my heart goes out to you buddy.

I am getting better, pretty scary heart issues, turns out mostly super sensitive to caffeine and another substance left behind in decaff coffee which I never drank much of until I stopped drinking alcohol, not completely sorted out but far better and less scary....Also just diagnosed with stage 3a kidney disease and high blood pressure. I fixed the blood pressure easily enough and the drug they tried to hard to get me to take I accepted it then studied up on it, no way in hell I would take such a thing. Instead going deeper into natural remedies, very carefully studying it and taking small steps and watching the results.

Modern medicine has it's place but the majority of pharmaceuticals do not cure anything, only treat symptoms sometimes is the best way to go while finding an actual cure.

If not for having a younger and wonderful wife and sweet loving doggy as well as live in a beautiful area, best part of my life really, I would not be so concerned as I have had a very full life. BUT, deep into remodeling our place, my retirement does not extent to my lady, I need to get our place and everything else setup really well so she is taken care of if my time comes sooner than later.

I do not miss the money, multiple car projects up to $100k race cars I built, etc....instead finding much more reward in putting in another 300 st ft of organic raised bed gardens right now. "Let food be thy medicine" is absolutely critical especially compared to what most eat, I will not even touch it is so toxic. Speaking of which, we do not watch toxic TV either, ever, never really did. We watch one channel, GAIA.com where we get to hear incredibly aware, and kind, scientists, engineers, doctors, historians, etc......talk of what is actually going on and all of them have hope for humanity.

For now, I wake up everyday grateful for what I do have, abundance compared to most in this world,

I had lots of fun in my car decades but moved on, just want to consume as little energy and pollute as little as possible, help others as I can...very fulfilling.

Have a great weekend!
Rick

My wife wants me to keep the car, I still really like it but I went to far and just not wanting that much upkeep, temptation to go way to fast on public roads, I built it to haul around to tracks all over and have fun and use it to go site seeing and grocery hauling and fit to big dogs in the back which it does all that really well but no longer tracking, I do not like to go nuts on public roads and it is fast enough to be to fast to truly enjoy, a stock one or mild modded I could enjoy more at its substantial but much lower limits. Some of my all time favorite cars were stock Miata's I have owned. I just do not have a place in my current and future life for the ST, it needs a new owner that does.
