Put coilovers on they did not have them . Never looked back.Car is a blast end of story.

hahaha this is why I figured they must not be all that necessary. Especially if you're swapping out the stock shocks with performance shocks or coilovers. Just find them odd and would love to hear an explanation from a Ford engineer or something.

Interesting, I've never heard of such a thing before. Does anyone know of any other cars that have dampers for the dampers?

I think some crown vics have mass dampers for the exhaust to tune out some noises

Strange idea:
To mount dampers on dampers.
Soon we will mount dampers on damper dampers?
Having custom-made suspension I threw them into the litter...

I removed the damper dampers today. They're 1087g, or 2.396lbs.
Edit - Forgot to mention, inside the metal boxes is a rubbery substance.
