I find the best way to replace the fog light bulbs to LED ones is to remove the headlights. Once they're removed, you have direct open access to the fog lights below.

I prefer removing the wheel.

Has anyone replaced the turn signals yet? I'm on a light swapping craze, just did the interior and plate lights, and ordered bulbs for the cargo area and reverse lights. I want to do the front and rear turn signals but this whole CK, not CK, switchback stuff is confusing me. What have you guys done for turn signals?

I replaced all my bulbs. I did LEDs on the reverse and brakes but did not want to deal with the hassle of the resistor for the turns. I ended up going the Putco mini halogen route. Nice rich orange colour.

I'm trying to avoid needing to jack up my car since I don't really have anywhere to do that currently. I live in a crowded city by the beach with street parking.

I just ordered headlight and foglight bulbs so I'll have the headlights out anyway.

I was easily able to install new fogs by just turning the wheel to one side and removing the 3 bolts from the fender liner. No need for jacks or removing wheels. It's very easy.

If you get your LED bulbs from Diode Dynamics or XenonDepot, they will have the correct bulbs for your car, in my experience. With that said, irregardless of Ck or non-CK LED bulbs, you will need a resistor to go along with your LED to prevent the hyperflashing and/or light out error message that is associated with the lower wattage of LEDs. I did the rear turn signals with Amber LEDs and resistors fron rem Diode Dymanics. Came out great. Now planning to do the front turn signals with amber as well. Don't want to have the all white look in the front. I like the contrast that the amber lights give.

I usually get my LEDs from superbrightleds.com have had good experiences in the past. Regardless, the front/rear turns and brake lights are all regular 3157 bulbs non-ck. I have front/rear turns and brake lights left to swap over (not going to bother with the side markers), but 3157 LED bulbs are pricey plus add in resistors and it gets expensive, imo.

One day. Still trying to nail down my HID retrofit anyway so that's more of a priority now.

The only problem with the trunk one was that it came in a set of 2, but there's only one trunk bulb. I thought about swapping out the glove box bulb but it looks a bit tough to reach, so I haven't tried yet. I tried using the 2nd one in the headliner, but it seemed a bit too bright for my taste.

THe glove box is a tight fit to have any different size. To access it you need to remove the assembly from the glove box then you can replace the bulb.

I went with Diode Dynamics XP80's for my brake lights, and I'll just say that if you want to be noticed, here's your answer. They are substantially brighter than stock! They're brighter in running light mode than the stock bulbs are when you hit the brakes. Pricey, but worth it.

Extremely easy to do. It's just two t5 screws that hold on each light assembly. Just unscrew the two screws, then twist the reverse light bulb socket out of the assembly. Replace the bulb and that's it.

None at all with any of the bulbs I've switched to LED. I've done interior headliner, trunk, foglight, and reverse. They've been done for months without any code.

Anybody having problems with led dome lights flickering? Tonight I swapped one of the map lights with a led bulb (i had left over from a previous job) to compare the difference. It would randomly flicker. (like someone sending random Morse code) this was with the car off, or in acc mode. Doesn't do it with car running.
