I wanted more power without having to do a turbo swap or engine work. Whenever you do stuff like that the car is just never the same.
Intake, and tune on my 5.0 and I'm riiiiiight at 400whp
Plus my dad had 5.0s when I was a kid, and I've always wanted one. Got a great deal on a 2011 GT premium
the trick in something like this is to upgrade to a slightly larger turbo, not a monster turbo. thats what i did with my WRX, from stock on 2.0 to evo III 16g wihch was a stock turbo on the 2.0L evo i think.
something that comes stock on a 2.0l turbo car would probably fit the bill best. or an aftermarket turbo designed for 2.0 applications. the bigger the turbo, the more HP you get out of it, but often as you increase size, the boost comes on later and later and when it comes in its like a rocket, which may sound fun but it can make driving the car a chore as all of the sudden your wheels start to spin and the car becomes difficult to handle, especially in a front wheel drive car.
