I am not a new member, but I would be interested in communicating with other ST owners in the Portland-Vancouver area. I got my oxford white ST from Courtesy Ford in Portland in May 2014, no added options, and I have kept the car bone stock except for a K&N air filter........so far I have very few complaints......13,800 miles of trouble free driving. Oh yeh.....that one niggling complaint: "BRAKE DUST" I have to clean the wheels nearly every day to keep them looking good. Never seen brakes that shed this much material. All in all, the car is great fun as well as reliable.

There is at least one person in the general vicinity: gnome23. Check in here and ping the regional forums -- maybe someone will chime in. There is another owner on the other (.net) forum named Mr. UFO. He's pretty active and friendly. Maybe IM him.

There must be quite a few. I was living in Portland until 2015. By the time I had moved I had counted two MOs living in SE Portland, three whites two PBs and a few Tux Blacks in NW. Saw probably one a week if not more. They are def around!

Hey Gnome23,
I spend a fair amount of time in West Linn, although I still live in Vancouver. I occasionally see an orange (Fiesta) ST on Hwy 43. Could that be you? I now have nearly 29,000 miles on the little rocket and have had zero issues. I finally cured the brake dust issue by having my local dealer (Vancouver Ford) install ceramic brake pads all around. The brake performance is slightly reduced but in normal driving, it's a non issue for me. I don't intend to autocross or track the car anytime soon. Oxford white 2014 ST.....bone stock.
Regards,
Barry WA

I'm in Vancouver though you'll probably only see my FiST on I-5/205 because it mostly doesn't go anywhere but to/from work. I also have the TS FoST with the bronze wheels. I've only seen three or four FiSTs since I moved here nearly a year ago...

I'm up in Kelso, but also bought mine from Courtesy Ford, but in January of 2014. I just was able to join the Facebook group PDXST a couple of days ago. Mine is Ingot Silver, with a bunch of bolt on mods, all from mountune.

I live in SE Portland, and just purchased a 2016 FiST in Kona Blue last Saturday. I haven't seen many around town at all, so I hope to meet some of you soon!

I'm over in Milwaukie but hope to be over in Washougal (going through the steps to have a house built) by the end of this year. Bought my 16' Kona Blue new from Astoria Ford in March.

Responding late. I'm west of PDX, in the Sherwood area, own a 2017 Magnetic. Driving the plentiful serpentine rural roads in this area is a blast, in the FiST. My car doesn't see daily use, as I work at home, and am always on my bike.
Returned from the last 2017 session of the Ford Octane Academy, Oct 25-26. Highly recommended, tons of fun. The near-stock FiST is surprisingly capable on track.

Hey folks, which dealer do you like for dealer services (warranty work, anything you can't do yourself, etc)?

I've had to do a decent amount of back and forth with Landmark already and they're great about half the time and not so great the other half.

Landmark messed with my car and is now blaming me for the damage they did, so I'll try Damerow I guess.

I am here in Garden Home/SW Portland area. I have a 2015 Oxford White. I take my car to Landmark for everything, though I haven't really had any problems. I bought my car from Courtesy but never liked dealing with them. I like Landmark because their service department is open 6AM-Midnight and because they have treated me reasonably well (as dealers go). I have never had a Ford dealer that treated my car with a TON of respect, though Landmark does a better job than most. I try to be overly nice and accommodating and that seems to have worked out well for me.

I would love to organize a drive once the weather is better. I've done a few drives with the Miata club (best friend has a Miata) and there are some great roads that would be great to try out.
