Just curious. Does anyone have issues with the voice commands/hands free calling after installing an aftermarket exhaust?
Try the sound symposer delete. That may help. It's probably the sound coming through really loud so it might muffle your voice. I talk rather loudly so I haven't had any issues...then again I haveyet to try voice commands while on the highway.

I'm still on the stock exhaust, but I plan on changing it soon. I just don't want to lose the ability to talk on the phone!

I have no issue talking on the phone with the MBRP exhaust and intake. Next to the MRT catback I think the MBRP is the second loudest.

Oh my bad, I misunderstood what you meant. I thought you were asking a question as thought you had a problem, not that you were just curious and thinking ahead.

If that is the case, then no. I have had no problems with voice commands and my Cobb Exhaust. But I plan to do the symposer delete soon as going above 75MPH makes a decent noise. It's not that I have a drone or hate the sound, I love it. I just want to listen to my music a little more and Feel like it will come in handy after the Intake and other mods that are coming up soon.

Sweet! I was planning on doing MBRP catback, but was worried I would lose the voice commands and stuff. The mic in the car must be good at cutting out noises other than voices! Thanks fellas!

I pulled the trigger and ordered the Injen exhaust the weld quality and appearance is good the exhaust shop that installed it had concerns at first but after they got it all adjusted it fits very well. I think it looks pretty good and the sound is great. Deep mellow enough with slight popping on deceleration. The tip is 3 1/2 I wish it was at least a four but still doesn't look bad. I was wanting a single tip because they flow slightly better than a dual tip. But that said the most restrictive point in the system is where it bolts up to the stock down pipe. Here's a photo before it was perfectly centered but basically how it looks.

Can you share a sound clip?

Out of all the cbe I've heard on the fist I really like MBRP exhaust . I do like Cobb, but not the price tag . I also didn't know ultimate racing made a TBE for the fist. Curious how the injen will sound .

The problem for me with cobb and mbrp is that they sound hollow. The mbrp especially sounds like the stock exhaust with a res or muffler delete. I really like their burble pop tho. Its just the tone i dont like too much. The injen sounds solid no hollowness with a deep tone to it maybe its because of the resonator? This is just my personal opinion....everyone is different.

does anyone have a catted downpipe on stock exhaust.

or

has anyone put a nice resonator in place of the factory one to get just a little bit more volume? I work for a company that makes exhausts just not for these cars. So I can get a really nice resonator made up from scraps or returned/damaged parts. I just dont want it to be too loud. I want a little more volume and a little of the burble to shine through. Only thing that comes close to what I want is Magnaflow it seems.

Anyone have some tips? This thread is too big for me to go through page by page. I did some searches but that left me with more questions. :)
