I'm 58 and love my FiST. I just love the feel of the Recaro seats and the nimble go kart like handling. Plus it's good on gas. What's not to like?
However, here's a comment I received from a 63 year old. Would love to hear your comments on this!

"It’s a toy car. Not a grown up car. Look like an idiot to be my age driving that, not to mention completely useless in terms of passenger room, trunk space, or even comfort."

I'm 76 coming up for my 77th and love this car! Sounds as though that guy would look and sound like an idiot whichever car he drove! Sounds as though he's talking through his other orifice!

I drive cars that I like, I've never limited myself to cars that might be considered appropriate for a certain age. This guy sounds like an idiot himself, he doesn't know what he's talking about. The car has plenty of room for me and I'm 6 ft tall, there's quite a bit of room in the hatch especially with the rear seat backs folded down, and I find the Recaro seats to be some of the most comfortable that I have had in a car.
Ironically, I thought it was kind of a toy car when I first heard about it but I also found it intriguing. I educated myself about it, and the more I found out, the more I liked it. A mechanic who I greatly respect was very enthusiastic about the car.The final selling point was that all of the traditional car magazines that I had been reading all my life were raving over it. So I bought it 8 years ago even though I'm not young, and have no regrets, it's one of my favorite cars I have ever had.

He sounds like the same type of conformist curmudgeon who would state that you must be wearing effing leisure suits (or whatever all of the other elderly are wearing en masse nowadays) once over the age of 50.

I never listened to anyone when it comes to ('populist', or go along with everyone else conformity) things like this as far as; fashions, music, cars, etc. goes, and I never will.

As far as I'm concerned, this car is too big and heavy already, and it wish that it were lighter, at the very least two doors, and more compact yet!

About the only things I liked about the FoST over this car when I was looking at both was the 5 bolt hubs, center exhaust exit, and more power (which is mostly offset by the greater size and weight anyway).
